Temperature to fall soon as winter strikes !

Due to a slow wind and slight rain across the country, temperature will decrease very soon says the weather Broadcasting authority. Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal and Rajshahi divisions, said the Met office in its forecast on Saturday.

It said a seasonal low lies over South Bay, extending its trough to Northeast Bay.

Besides, weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during mid-night to morning.

Sky remained cloudy in different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka. The Dhaka city dwellers also witnessed rains on Saturday morning.

The Met office said night temperature may fall gradually.

Country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 32.0 degrees Celsius at Chattogram and Jashore while lowest temperature 15.6 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 5.11 pm Saturday and rises at 6.18 am Sunday in the capital.
