Dewanbagh pir passes away !
Dewanbagh Durbar Sharif’s Pir Syed Mahbub-e- Khoda, known as Dewanbagi, passed away at a hospital in Dhaka on Monday morning. He was 70.
He was taken to the private hospital after suffered a brain stroke at his residence. There he breathed his last around 7am. The namaz-e-janaza for Dewanbagi will be held after Zohr prayers on Tuesday.
The Pir was born in December 14, 1949, in Bahadurpur village of Ashuganj upazila of Brahmanbaria. He was the youngest of six brothers and two sisters. He studied from Talshohor Karimia Alia Madrasa in his area.
