Mother-Daughter found hanging in same rope

A woman and her daughter have been found hanging with a same rope at their house in Kishoreganj’s Tarail upazila. Police suspect they committed suicide over family feud. The deceased were identified as Shahnaj, 26, wife of Omayeb, her 12-year-old daughter Priyoti.

Quoting inhabitants of Rahela village, police said locals informed them after seeing the hanging bodies on Monday night. Tarail Police Station OC Md Mujibur Rahman said being informed, the law enforcers recovered the bodies at 10pm. It is suspect that the duo committed suicide as Omayeb married for the second time.
