Another 2010 Rohingyas reach Bhasan Char

Five vessels of Bangladesh Navy with 2010 Rohingyas on board reached Noakhali’s Bhasan Char on Monday noon.The activists of Gonoshasthaya Kendra examined their health just after reaching there.

The navy officials said this is the first part Rohingyas of the fourth phase. They were first taken to ware house where they were informed about rules and regulation of the Bhasan Char. The Rohingyas were given lunch there.

Some 1,600 more Rohingyas will be relocated to the Bhasan Char on Tuesday. All preparation have already been taken, the officials added.

The Bangladesh Navy, carrying the Rohingyas, left Chattogram Boat Club at 10am. They came to Chattogram from Ukhia refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar on Sunday where they stayed at night.
