2nd dose of vaccine to be given from Apr 7
PBC News: The second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will be administered from April 7, informed Health Minister Zahid Maleque.
The minister revealed the information at a press conference at his Secretariat office on Tuesday.
He also informed that 23.80 lakh people have so far been vaccinated in the country.
“We’re to receive 50 lakh doses of vaccine this year, but, we’ve received 20 lakh doses. We’ve put pressure on India’s Serum Institute to make up the gap,” he added.
Mass vaccination programme to immunise people against the Covid-19 began in 1,015 hospitals and health centres across the country on February 7.
