Moudud Ahmed’s body arrives in Bangladesh
PBC News:nThe body of BNP Standing Committee Member Barrister Moudud Ahmed arrived in Dhaka from Singapore on Thursday evening. A flight of Biman Bangladesh carrying Moudud’s mortal remains landed at Hazrat Shahlalal International Airport around 6:03pm.

Hasna Jasim Uddin Moudud, wife of the former vice-president and prime minister, also arrived with the body.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir received the body at the airport.Party’s top leaders including Standing Committee members Dr Khandkar Mosharraf Hossain and Nazrul Islam Khan, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Vice chairman Mohammad Shahjahan and Barkat Ullah Bulu were present.

The body will be taken to Moudud’s Gulshan residence straight from the airport and then kept at the mortuary of Evercare Hospital for night.
The BNP leader will be buried in the family graveyard at Manikpur village in Noakhali’s Companiganj on Friday.
Moudud Ahmed passed away at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital at 6.30pm on Tuesday.
