BNP postpones golden jubilee programme

PBC News: BNP has postponed its year-long programme undertaken to celebrate the golden jubilee of the country’s independence because of sudden spike in coronavirus cases.

The party’s Standing Committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, also the convener of the national committee on celebrating the golden jubilee of independence, informed this at a press conference held in city’s Gulshan area on Wednesday.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and the committee’s member secretary Abdus Salam were also present in the briefing.
