Lockdown may be relaxed before Eid: Quader
PBC News: Besides the decision of extension of the ongoing lockdown, the government is also thinking to relax it before Eid-ul-Fitr in need of life and livelihood, said Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.

The Minister told this in a press briefing. on Monday
Quader, also Awami League General Secretary, said the government has decided to extend the ongoing countrywide strict lockdown for a week from April 22 as COVID-19 infections keep rising.
It has been discussed at a cabinet meeting today. The decision will be finalised after getting approval from the top levels of the government.
The National Technical Advisory Committee on the Coronavirus on Sunday night recommended extension of the ongoing lockdown for one more week in an effort to curb the virus flareup.
