Decision on taking Khaleda abroad to be known soon
PBC News: The complexities created over taking BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia abroad for treatment are likely to be resolved by Friday (May 7) evening.

She is likely to go to London via Singapore. The process will start after the government’s approval.
Earlier, on Wednesday night Khaleda Zia’s family submitted a prayer to the Home Minister seeking permission to take her abroad. Since then 45 hours have already passed. Khaleda Zia’s family is yet to receive the government’s green signal.
At about 3:30pm on Thursday, Law Minister Anisul Huq said he would give his opinion after receiving the file of the Khaleda Zia’s family’s prayer. It is learnt that all the complexities are likely to be over by Friday evening.
Meanwhile, BNP is also looking at the government. Though nothing was mentioned in the prayer about taking Khaleda Zia to London, her family is giving priority to the United Kingdom.
Besides, some of the party insiders said Khaleda Zia is likely to be taken to Saudi Arabia via Singapore.
On the other hand, doctors at Evercare Hospital at Basundhara in the capital on Friday said the physical condition of Khaleda Zia is now stable. One of the doctors said the BNP chairperson is being given oxygen, antibiotics, and insulin.
