Incepta gets nod for producing Chinese ‘Sinopharm’ vaccine
PBC News: Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) has given approval of the production of Chinese Covid-19 vaccine ‘Sinopharm’ by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited of Bangladesh.

Drug Administration Director General Major General Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the matter to media on Sunday.
According to the Drug Administration, Incepta Pharmaceuticals will be able to start production of the Chinese-invented coronavirus vaccine ‘Sinopharm’ in Bangladesh in the current month.
Drug Administration will explain the details of the approval of the ‘Sinopharm’ coronavirus vaccine in Bangladesh at a press conference on Monday morning.
Earlier on Wednesday, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jiming handed over 5,00,000 Sinopharm vaccine doses to Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and Health Minister Zahid Maleque at the state guest house Padma.
