Notice issued extending ongoing lockdown 7 more days
PBC News: The government has officially extended the current restriction on movement for seven more days till May 23 issuing a notice.
The lockdown will remain in force from May 17-23, the Cabinet Division on Sunday issued a gazette notification.
During this time, the buses will be allowed to ply within the district following the hygiene rules. Inter-district and long-route bus services, train and launch services, will remain suspended.

Offices related to revenue collection will remain out of this order.
To contain the spread of coronavirus infection, the government has already extended the lockdown three times which will be ended this midnight.
The government had eased the lockdown restrictions during Eid but kept long-haul passenger transport services on hold mainly to stop the outbreak from spreading to rural areas.
