Khaleda to lead people in defeating AL govt: Fakhrul
PBC News: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said their chairperson Khaleda Zia will lead the people to defeat the ruling Awami League government.
“They are conspiring to prevent the leader of the people Khaleda Zia from coming in front of them and to prevent her from being active in politics. We believe this conspiracy will fail. She will again lead the people to defeat the horrible fascist force that are pressing on the people of the country,” he made the remarks at a doha mahfil in Dhaka’s Naya Paltan on Monday morning.
On the occasion of Khaleda Zia’s 76th h birth anniversary, the event was organized to wish her recovery, longevity and seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of those who died of various diseases including Coronavirus across the country.
Criticising the government’s vindictive attitude towards Khaleda, Fakhrul said, “The fascist Awami League government had convicted her in a false case against which filed during the tenure of 1/11 illegitimate government, to keep her away from the people and out of politics.”
“We have seen her (Khaleda) go through this ordeal for almost three years in agony, during this period she contracted Coronavirus and fell seriously ill.”
