Fresh bail petition filed for Pori Moni, hearing Sep 13

PBC News: Actress Pori Moni’s lawyer filed a fresh bail petition before a Dhaka court on Sunday in a drug case.   Lawyer Mojibur Rahman lodged the petition with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge KM Imrul Kayesh seeking bail.

Then, the court fixed September 13 for hearing on the bail appeal.

On Saturday, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Asheq Imam ordered to send the actress to prison in a case filed under Narcotics Control Act after hearing.

Before the court order, the case investigation officer CID’s inspector Golam Mostafa filed a petition where he requested to keep Pori Moni at jail until the investigation is over.
