Two policemen arrested from hotel with drugs
PBC News: Two police constables were arrested from a residential hotel in Jashore district on Saturday night.
The arrested are Mujahid, 27, of Chachra police outpost in the district, and Azam Mollah, 30, a suspended member of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
Kotwali OC Md Tajul Islam said on information, they were arrested from a hotel in the district town along with two bottles of Phesedyl syrup, 10 Yaba tablets and four pipe lighters.
They were staying there for selling drugs, the OC added.
A case was filed with Kotwali Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act.
The arrested persons were produced before court on Sunday afternoon.
