Case filed over missing of three college girls in Dhaka
PBC News: A case has been filed over the missing of three college students from their Mirpur house in the capital since September 30.
Kazi Dil Afroz, elder sister of missing girl Kazi Dikhus Jannat Nisa, filed the case with Pallabi Police Station on Saturday night mentioning the name of four persons and some 4-5 unnamed.
The four named accused are Md Tariqullah, 19, Md Raqibullah, 20, Jinia alias Tiktok Jinia Rose, 18, and Sharfuddin Ahmed, 18.
The police station Officer in-Charge (OC) Md Parvez Islam confirmed the news.
On September 30, the college girls left their respective homes in Mirpur with certificates, ornaments and cash taka.
Their family members fear they might have been trapped by human trafficking syndicate luring them with an overseas trip.
Meanwhile, a guardian has lodged a complaint with the Pallabi Police Station over the missing of three college students–Kazi Dilkhush Jannat Nisa, Kaniz Fatema and Sneha Akhter.
All the three are students of Class XII. Although they belong to different institutions, they are close friends.
They were wearing college dress when they went out from their residences. However, they took money, gold ornaments, mobile phones and school certificates with them. They have not been found since.
The three students have recently expressed their interest in going to Japan with a young man, who is their neighbour, in the area. They do not have any passports.
Missing Dilkhush’s mother Mahmuda Akhter has brought allegations against her brother Tariqul, Tik Tok model Jinia over the incident.
Earlier, two people including Tariqul have been detained for interrogation. However, they claimed that they did not know anything about the whereabouts of missing students.
