Lt Col Mashiur Rahman appointed as RAB Intelligence chief

PBC News:  Lt Col Mashiur Rahman Jewel has been appointed as the Director of the Intelligence Wing of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB). He has replaced Lt Col Khairul Islam.

A senior official of RAB confirmed the Daily Observer Online about it on Tuesday (October 5).

Sources said Mashiur Rahman Jewel will formally be given the charge of the Intelligence Wing of RAB on Wednesday. Earlier, he was the Commander of RAB-7. Lt Col MA Yusuf has been appointed as the Commander of RAB-7.

Lt Col Khairul Islam will return to his previous workplace at Bangladesh Army. He will go to the UN Peacekeeping Mission in November.
