War crimes: Warrant issued against 12 persons
PBC News: Arrest warrant against 12 people was issued on Thursday in a case filed for their alleged crimes against humanity during the country’s Liberation War in 1971.
A three-member International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) bench, led by its chairman Justice Shahinur Islam, issued the order.
Prosecutor Taposh Kanti Bol said to media that the investigation against the 12 accused for mass killing, murder, kidnap, assault are on the last stage. For this, the court issued the arrest warrant.
