Question leak: Agrani Bank official ordered to surrender
PBC News: The High Court has ordered to surrender Agrani Bank senior officer Manik Kumar Pramanik (sacked) to appear before it within six weeks on charge of leaking of questions from the recruitment test of five banks.
After hearing on a bail petition, the HC bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice AKM Jahirul Haque passed the order on Tuesday.
Lawyer Mohammad Hossain stood for the petitioner while deputy attorney general AKM Amin Uddin Manik, assistant attorney general Anna Khanam Kolly and Md Saifur Rahman Siddique Saif represented the state.
According to the case statement, on September 19, CID police inspector Md Shahinul Islam filed a case with Badda Police Station against some members of a question paper leakage gang on charge of money laundering.
Manik Kumar Pramanik, Mafizur Rahman and Rafiqul Hasan have been made accused in the case.
Manik Kumar has nine saving accounts where over Tk 4 lakh were found, as per the case statement.
