Hasina sends Murad to a safe place: Gayeshwar
PBC News: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent Dr Murad Hasan, who has lost his cabinet post for his obscene remarks over womenfolk, to a safe place to give him protection, BNP standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said on Friday.
“I heard that district unit of Awami League has expelled him (Murad) and they sent it to central committee for approval. I also heard that a case has been filed against him. But he flew yesterday. That means Murad committed the crime on the instructions of the Prime Minister. The prime minister has sent him to a safe place for his protections. Is that a lie?” said Gayeshwar while addressing at a programme at Dhaka Reporters Unity.
“Nagarik Odhika Andolon” arranged the progarmme demanding the release of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and her treatment abroad.
The BNP leader in his speech said, “The prime minister has often said that she has done as much as she can and allowed Khaleda to stay at home. She did not show miserliness to do anything for Khaleda. Sheikh Hasina has evicted Khaleda Zia from her home. Who has filed so many cases? She is Sheikh Hasina.”
He further said, “Who is skillful in obscene remarks and mocking? She is Sheikh Hasina. In comparison to these, Murad is a child there.”
Even though there is no rule of law today but there is one person whose rule is continuing and she is Sheikh Hasina, said Gayeshwar adding that “The judiciary is also running by the command of one. There are no cases of disappearances or killings in Bangladesh which are not known to this government or take place without its instructions.”
He said although the names of those who smuggled crores of money abroad are not known to the detectives or Anti Corruption Commission nut Sheikh Hasina knows them well
“Sheikh Hasina knows where the source of this money. Those who get the looted money sit around her. So the only person who knows everything is Sheikh Hasina.”
The programme was presided over by the organization adviser Saeed Ahmed Aslam and conducted by Jahangir Alam.
BNP’s assistant organizing secretary Abdus Salam Azad, Ulema Dal convener Maulana Shah Mohammad Nesarul Haque and Jatiya Dal chairman Advocate Syed Ehsanul Huda, spoke, among others.
