Temperature may drop further as rain likely in parts of Bangladesh
PBC News: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast light rain or drizzle in one or two places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions and the regions of Kushtia and Jessore in the 24 hours from 9:00am on Wednesday.
“Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur in one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions and the regions of Kushtia and Jessore in the 24 hours till 9am on Thursday,” said a Met Office bulletin, reports BSS.
The weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies elsewhere over the country.
Light to moderate fog may occur at several places in the country from midnight to morning, the bulletin added.
Night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged and day temperatures may fall by 1-3 degrees Celsius.
The country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 29 degrees Celsius in Cox’s Bazar and the lowest temperature on Wednesday was 11 degrees Celsius in Sreemangal.
The sun will set at 5:20pm on Wednesday and rise at 6:40am on Thursday in Dhaka.
