10 missing in Narayanganj trawler capsize
PBC News: At least 10 persons went missing after a trawler capsized in the Dhaleshwari River at Sadar upazila in Narayanganj district on Wednesday morning.
Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the matter.
He said the trawler capsized when a Barishal-bound launch hit it in the river at Dharmaganj Godarghat area under Fatulla union.
Being informed, divers of the fire service rushed to the spot and started a rescue operation.
The operation is still on to rescue the missing persons, the fire service official added.
