Writ seeks directives to close educational institutions

PBC News:  A writ petition has been filed with the High Court seeking directives to close educational institutions across the country for next 30 days due to spread of COVID-19 again.

Lawyer Younus Ali Akand filed the writ on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, both the Appellate Division and the High Court Division began their work virtually from today.

Education Minister Dipu Moni on Tuesday said that if COVID-19 pandemic situation becomes worse in the country, then online classes may be launched.
