MBBS admission test result published, pass rate 55.13pc
PBC News: The result of MBBS first year admission test for academic year 2021-22 was published on Tuesday with pass rate of 55.13 per cent. Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque announced the result at the Old Health Department’s conference room in the capital’s Mohakhali.
A total of 4,350 students are able to take admission in 37 government medical college in the country while the rest can be admitted to private medical colleges.
Of the 1,039,742 candidates, 79,337 passed in the admission test this year where 44,504 are girls and 34,833 boys.
Sumaiya Moslem Meem got the highest score of 92.5 in the examination.
The Health Minister said, “The MBBS entry test has been conducted smoothly. This year, girls are ahead of boys in the pass rate. A female student secured the highest score.”
The admission test was held on April 1 (Friday).
