Two brothers hacked dead in Jashore

PBC News: Two brothers were allegedly hacked to death by miscreants at Chowgacha upazila in Jashore district on Thursday night.

Victims Ayub Hossain and Yusnus Ali, sons of late Abdur Rahman, were residents of Tengorpur village under Narayanpur union in the upazila.

Police said some miscreants entered the victims’ house and indiscriminately struck on them with sharp weapons at about 11.00 pm, leaving Ayub dead on the spot and Yunus and Ayub’s son Roni critically injured.

Yunus succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.

Roni was admitted to Jashore 250 Bed General Hospital.

Chowgacha Police Station ASI Kamal said police recovered the bodies.

Local UP chairman Zakir Hossain assumed that the two brothers might have been killed by their opponents over land disputes.
