Turkish passenger not infected with Monkeypox: IEDCR
PBC News: The Turkish citizen, who was sent to hospital on suspicion of Monkeypox symptoms, is not infected with the disease, said Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control And Research (IEDCR).
Tahmina Shirin, director of IEDCR on Friday said that the Turkish citizen was not infected with Monkeypox and he was released from hospital following the test.
On Tuesday, a 32-year-old Turkish passenger was sent to Mohakhali Infectious Diseases Hospital on suspicion of Monkeypox infection from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
However, on the same day, the Health Directorate said that the symptoms of Turkish citizens are not monkeypox.
