Fuel oil price to be adjusted by 1-2 days: Nasrul Hamid

PBC News:  State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has said that fuel oil prices will be adjusted within one or two days.

“We will get some advantages in fuel oil import tariff. From this point of view, we thinks that the fuel price can be adjusted,” the state minister disclosed this to media on Monday.

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Sunday waived entire advance tax on diesel aiming to cut import cost of the key gasoline item. It also reduced 5 per cent import duty from 10 per cent.

The reduced import tariff would remain effective until December 31, 2022.
