One killed in Jamalpur road mishap

PBC News:  An easy bike driver was killed in a road accident at Sarishabari upazila in Jamalpur district on Thursday afternoon.

The dead was Shahjahan Ali, 35, son of Abul Hossain, a resident of Manilpatal village under Pogodigha union.

Pogoldigha UP chairman Ashraful Alam Manik said Shah Jahan was going towards the upazila sadar with passengers. On the way, he lost control over the easy bike and it fell down into a ditch in Jhalupara area, leaving him injured.

Later, he was rescued and taken to Jamalpur General Hospital where he was declared dead.
