BNP’s road march in all districts, except Dhaka, on Saturday
PBC NEWS DESK: The BNP will bring out its road march programme at the district level on Saturday (February 25) to press home its 10-pont demands.
The demands include the government’s resignation, dissolution of the parliament, and the next general election under a caretaker government.Other demands are lowering the prices of energy and daily commodities.
Except Dhaka, the BNP will bring out the road march in all districts simultaneously on Saturday.
The road march in Dhaka will be brought out on Sunday (February 26).BNP Media Cell member Shyrul Kabir Khan stated it to reporters on Friday.
BNP office secretary in-charge and organising secretary Syed Emran Saleh Prince announced the road march programme in all districts in a press release issued on February 18 last.
Earlier on 11 February, the BNP demonstrated a similar road march programme at the union level across the country.
According to BNP sources, such road march has already helped the party to gain huge support from the countrymen and “will eventually put more pressure on the government.” The party’s grassroots and elites are all inspired by this political strategy.
