ভারী বৃষ্টি ও ভারতের উজানের পানিতে ফেনীর পরশুরাম, ফুলগাজী ও ছাগলনাইয়া উপজেলায় প্রবল বন্যা দেখা দিয়েছে। স্মরণকালের ভয়াবহ বন্যায় পরশুরাম, ফুলগাজী ও ছাগলনাইয়ার দেড় লক্ষাধিক মানুষ পানিবন্দি রয়েছে। বন্যায় একজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে বলে প্রশাসনের পক্ষ থেকে নিশ্চিত করা হয়েছে। নৌকার অভাব ও পানির তীব্র স্রোতের কারণে উদ্ধার কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করা যাচ্ছে না। তলিয়ে গেছে রাস্তা-ঘাট ও বসতবাড়ি। নিরাপদ আশ্রয়ের সন্ধানে বন্যাদুর্গতরা। এ দিকে বিপৎসীমার ৯০ সেন্টিমিটার ওপর দিয়ে প্রবাহিত হচ্ছে মুহুরী, কহুয়া ও সিলোনীয়া নদীর পানি।
