India is set to donate 109 ambulances to Bangladesh on the occasion.
The rest of the ambulances are expected to arrive in phases before and after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh.
Narendra Modi will formally hand over the ambulances to PM Sheikh Hasina during his trip to join the celebrations of Bangabandhu’s birth centenary and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence.
This ambulance has the capacity to carry cardiac patients — with ventilation facilities.
