Rozina’s case to be probed impartially: DB
PBC News: The case filed against Prothom Alo’s senior reporter Rozina Islam would be investigated impartially, said the detective branch (DB) Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
HM Azimul Huque, Deputy Commissioner of the Ramna Division of the DMP on Thursday morning told journalists at a pree briefing on Sunday morning.

Rozina Islam was confined to the room of the Health Secretary’s PS for as many as five and a half hours.
Later, she was handed over to Shahbagh police at night and the Health Division filed a case against her under an outdated Official Secrets Act of 1923 and several sections of the Bangladesh Penal Code. The Detective Branch was given the task to investigate the case on Wednesday.
Though Rozina Islam’s bail hearing took place at a lower court in Dhaka on Thursday, the judge said the order on bail would be passed on Sunday.
