Train, launch services resumed; Minister Sujan visits Kamalapur station
PBC News: After 49 days’ of suspension, train services resumed on Monday morning following health regulations amid lcokdown.

Kamalapur Rail Station manager Masud Sarwar said a train of ‘Parabat Express’ left for Sylhet at 6:20am. Besides, local train ‘Balaka Express’ also left the station.
Some passengers were seen waiting outside the station this morning as there was no arrangements for tickets selling at the station. Most of the passengers failed to buy tickets through online, some of them did not know about online ticket sell.
While visiting the Kamalapur Rail Station this morning, Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said, “No one will be allowed to enter the station without tickets and the tickets will be sold through online not more than half.”
Twenty-eight pairs of intercity trains resumed their services in the country.
Meanwhile, Joynal Abedin, joint director of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), said 15 launches have, so far, left Sadarghat.
On Sunday, the Cabinet Division in a circular lifted the restrictions on public transports. But it extended the ongoing lockdown till May 30.
