BNP to hold protest demo Wednesday
PBC News: As part of protest against arrest of the BNP men and attacked on their peaceful programme by police, BNP will stage demonstration at all police station areas in the capital on Wednesday (August 18).
Metropolitan South BNP convenor Abdus Salam announced this at a press briefing held at 3pm on Tuesday at its Nayapaltan party office.
The law enforcers attacked on BNP’s peaceful programme of placing wreaths at the grave of party founder Ziaur Rahman Chandrima Udyan park, Abdus Salam alleged.
Protesting a blame of attacked Planning Division secretary’s car by the BNP activists, he said, “No party men was involved in the attack of Mohammad Jainul Bari’s car and other vehicles.”
