Name and grading system of HSC exams may change
PBC News: The government will introduce new curriculum in schools and colleges from 2023 to class XII. According to the new curriculum, the name and grading system of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations may change.
Education Minister Dipu Moni said this at a press briefing at the Secretariat after presenting the National Curriculum Outline to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday.
Dipu Moni said, “The results of the final examination of class XI and XII will match the results of HSC. The name and grading system of HSC examination may change.”
She said, “There will be no science, humanities and commerce division until class X. There will be no annual examination till class three.”
There will also be no Class 5 Primary Education Completion (PEC) examinations and Class 8 Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations, the minister said.
Besides, there will be public examinations in only for Class 10, Dipu Moni said.
