Three arrested with 40,000 Yaba pills in capital

PBC News:  Mugda police have arrested three persons with 40,000 Yaba tablets and seized a microbus used for transporting the drugs to different parts in the capital.

The arrested are Kamal, Rahima Kamal and Rajib.

Police Inspector (Operations) Ashish Kumar Deb of Mugda Police Station, who led the drive, said they were arrested from Uttar Manda area in Mugda around 6:15am on Thursday.

During the drive, police recovered 40,000 Yaba pills along with the microbus used for transporting drugs, he said.

The arrested were produced before the court after filing a case with the Mugda Police Station in this connection, Ashish added.
