If Khaleda slow poisoned, Fakhrul will be accused: Quader
PBC News: Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Friday said if BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is slowly poisoned, the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir would be accused of giving the order to do so.
Speaking during a protest rally organised by Jubo Dal, in front of Jatiya Press Club, on Thursday, Mirza Fakhrul posed a question, asking if party chairperson Khaleda Zia was “slow poisoned” after being taken to hospital from the old central jail in Dhaka.
In reply to Mirza Fakhrul’s comment, Quader said Khaleda’s family members give her food, and BNP men always stay beside her. If she is slowly poisoned, those who stay beside her could do so, reports BSS.
He said this while giving the welcome address before the AL’s secretariat meeting at its central Bangabandhu Avenue office here.
