Woman, son hacked dead in Gazipur
PBC News: Police on Monday recovered the bodies of a woman and her son from Board Bazar area of Gazipur city.
The deceased were Rahima, 38, wife of Md Mafiz, and her son Rokan, 17. They lived in a rented house at Board Bazar area. Mofiz is a rickshaw-puller.
Police, quoting the statement of Rahima’s relatives, said, Mofiz often beat his wife and son over family feud.
As sequel to that, Mofiz hacked his wife to death at 1am. Later, he also hacked his son Rokan.
After killing his wife and son, Mofiz locked the house and fled.
Gachha Police Station OC Ismail Hossain said the bodies of the two were recovered from the house and sent to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police launched a drive to arrest the killer Mofiz.
