BNP provokes communal forces to defame Bangabandhu’s statute: Quader
Communal forces are defaming Bangabandhu’s statute with getting shelter from BNP , commented Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.
“Getting BNP’s instigation, shelter and sponsorship the communal forces are defaming Bangabandhu’s statute. This is an unforgivable crime,” Quader said this while addressing at COVID-19 equipment distribution programme at AL’ president’s Dhamondi office through a videoconferencing from his official residence in Dhaka.
Criticising BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul’s comment on rising of fanaticism in country, he said, “BNP in one side opposes Liberation War and on the other side it patronises extreme communal force. Are they speaking in favor of democracy?”
BNP’s support is behind the rise of extremism in the country, alleged Quader.
Mentioning BNP leaders, he further said, “Who created Bangla Bhai and Shaekh Abdur Rahman? In which tenure the incident of series of bomb attack occurred across the country? When did the bomb attacks on Alaka, Chayabani, Purobi and Ajanta cinema halls happened?”
