One killed, 10 injured as bus falls into ditch hitting motorcycle
PBC News: A motorcyclist was killed and 10 bus passengers were injured after a bus fell into a roadside ditch hitting a motorcycle at Saidpur upazila in Nilphamari district on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Moksedul Haque, 50, son of late Hazar Ali, a resident of Majhapara village in the upazila.
Locals said a Dhaka-bound bus of Hanif Enterprise hit a motorcycle in Koya Mistripara crossing area and fell into a roadside ditch, leaving motorcyclist Moksedul dead on the spot and 10 bus passengers injured.
The injured were rescued by police and fire service personnel and taken to Saidpur 100 Bed Hospital for treatment, said Saidpur Police Station officer in-charge Mofizul Islam.
