খরচ কমিয়ে ২০২৫ সালের হজ প্যাকেজ ঘোষণা করেছেন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের ধর্ম উপদেষ্টা ড. আ.ফ.ম খালিদ হোসেন। চাঁদ দেখা সাপেক্ষে আসছে বছরের ৪ জুন মক্কা নগরীতে হজ অনুষ্ঠিত হতে পারে। প্রতি বছর লাখো মুসলমান আল্লাহর হুকুম পালন করতে অর্থাৎ হজ পালন করতে সৌদি আরবে সফর করেন। অন্যান্য দেশের ন্যায় বাংলাদেশ থেকেও পাড়ি জমান অনেকেই। বাংলাদেশ থেকে এবার হজ পালনের সুযোগ পাবেন ১ লাখ ২৭ হাজার ১৯৮ জন। এর মধ্যে সরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনায় ১৫ হাজার এবং বেসরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনায় ১ লাখ ১২ হাজার ১৯৮ জন সুযোগ পাবেন।
