পরিস্থিতির প্রয়োজনে প্রত্যেকটি নাগরিককে সামরিক ট্রেনিং দিয়ে যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত করা হবে। প্রতিটি ছাত্র যেনো রাইফেল চালাতে পারে করা হবে সে ব্যবস্থা। এদেশের মানুষ লড়াকু জাতি। ১৯৭১ সালে মুক্তির লড়াইয়ে জয়ী হয়েছি, লড়াই করে চিরকাল জয়ী হবে বাংলাদেশ। এমন ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করতে হবে যাতে কেউ এদেশের দিকে রক্তচক্ষু নিয়ে তাকাতে না পারে। বৃহস্পতিবার রাজধানীর জাতীয় প্রেস ক্লাবের এক আলোচনা সভায় এমন মন্তব্য করেন বিএনপির স্থায়ী কমিটির সদস্য অবসরপ্রাপ্ত মেজর হাফিজ উদ্দিন আহমেদ বীর বিক্রম।
