দেশে এই মুহুর্তে নির্বাচন দেওয়া হলে কোন দল জয় লাভ করবে। সরকারের মসনদে বসবে কারা? বিএনপি নাকি জামায়াতে ইসলামী! তাছাড়া ভারতে পালিয়ে যাওয়া শেখ হাসিনার আওয়ামী লীগের কি আদৌ নির্বাচনে অংশ নেওয়ার সুযোগ আছে? যদিও এরই মধ্যে আওয়ামী লীগের সভানেত্রীর বিরুদ্ধে দায়ের হয়েছে অসংখ্য মামলা, ছত্রভঙ্গ অবস্থা দীর্ঘ ১৬ বছর রাজত্ব করে আসা দলটির। এমতাবস্থায় নির্বাচন দিলে কি জুটবে তাদের ভাগ্যে! বিচারের আগে তাদের নির্বাচনে অংশ নেওয়ার সুযোগ নেই বলেও মনে করেন অনেকে। তাছাড়া এরশাদের রেখে যাওয়া জাতীয় পার্টি নির্বাচনের জন্য কতটা প্রস্তুত?
